This style of plate is suitable for use with Ku dish types larger than 75cm in diameter. This means it will work on 75cm, 80cm 90cm, 1m, 1.2m and 1.8m

Mounting the dish

It is essential when mounting the dish, to have the pole or mount that the dish is attached perfectly vertical .If the mount it is not vertical then the method of receiving three satellites will not operate correctly.

                   DiSEqC Switch installation

Due to there being three outputs a four way DiSEqC switch will be required.
We recommend  Optus D1 be connected to Input port 1 or A ,Optus C1 to Input 3 or C and Optus D2 to input port 2 or B.

It is recommended that the satellite receiver be switched off whilst connecting the LNBFs and DiSEqC switch. Damage can be caused to the DiSEqC switch if this directive is ignored.  See related story on  DiSEqC switches in our technical information section.

The Satellite receiver configuration is usually set so that

Optus D1 is DiSEqC port 1, Optus C1 is DiSEqC port 3, Optus D2 is DiSEqC port 2
